I am a current fourth year (out of five) in the Brown|RISD Dual Degree Program, studying Graphic Design at the Rhode School of Design, and Chemistry at Brown University. The Dual Degree Program enables me to pursue two undergraduate degrees in two different institutions, ultimately gaining an interdisciplinary education in Design and STEM. I am immensely interested in the ways design can inform the way I approach understanding complex scientific concepts, and more specifically how science is able to inform my own design practice.
I am currently based in Mountain View, CA, interning at Google as a UX Designer in the Hardware Design team.
I have previously interned at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, CA, researching Mars habitat development & as well as taking the role of Design Lead for the team. You can read about my experience at NASA on the RISD Maharam STEAM Fellowship blog, as I was a Maharam Fellow for the duration of the internship. I was also a Corporate Branding Creative Intern at Ogilvy & Mather in Manila, Philippines prior to working at NASA.
